Two steps forward – one step back
Infections with Corona are rising in Denmark.
Last night prime minister Mette Frederiksen, Minister of Health Magnus Heunicke, Director General of Danish Health Authority Søren Brostrøm and finally Director General of Statens Serum Institut Henrik Ullum called for a press conference and informed on the COVID-19 situation in Denmark.
Unfortunately, quite a lot of Danes are still missing out on the vaccines, but maybe the press conference was a wake-up call. During the conference, more than 11.000 people were queuing online to make an appointment for the first jab.
According to the government, COVID-19 must be considered as a critical threat to society again. The Corona passport must be revived. These measures will probably be accepted by the parliament later today. In a week, we will have elections for municipality and regions, extra health and safety precautions are already confirmed.
The third jab is already being rolled out. Given the time of year and many don’t disinfect their hans any more, enables virus to spread. After the summer holidays, the flu rose and we have been hit massively by ordinary colds, at home. I’m ready to war a face mask again, if that’s necessary to avoid contamination and lockdowns. The situation right now is two steps forward and one back again – on the long run that’s not sustainable if society and business must run smoothly.
My hope is the last anti waxxers finally understand, that everyone needs to get the jabs.
