As mentioned, I will dive deeper into each of the the 17 World Goals since they are very important to me. We can all do a change for a better world with room for diversity, but where we still have too many inequalities.
World Goal 1 Eliminate Poverty
There is far too much difference between rich and poor. Fortunately, fewer and fewer are poor, but around 700 million people are described as poor by the United Nations.
We need to do something about that!
When I had my children, I promised them they would never go to bed hungry. It was a promise I knew I could keep easily. They eat around the clock, and are well on their way to being nearly 2m (!) tall all three of them, once they have finished growing.
But too many mothers and fathers out in the world have to put their children hungry to bed every night, cannot send them to school and may end up watching their children die because they live with unclean water, have to eat other people's leftovers and there are no money for medicine. It's horrible to think that some children - like mine - grow up with all the food they can eat, get clothes, education and most likely have an amazing life, while others die before their lives get started properly.
Buying Fairtrade groceries, FSC certified furniture and GOTS certified clothing, we can help eliminate poverty. You will secure that workers all over the world work for a fair wage, can buy food, medicine and other necessities for their families.
Supporting through aid organisations, you can ensure that families can afford to send their children to school, get educated and thus participate in ensuring increased welfare in their country.
In Denmark there is also poverty, and we must not forget that. Not all children are equal in Denmark, there are also children who do not get what they need. But we often forget it because most of us can afford what we need in everyday life.

Please give me your comments on what you are doing to meet the Global Goals. I certainly have learned a lot about each goal and what I can do in my everyday life that makes a difference for another person.
