Stop wasting food – use the overripe bananas in a cake. I don’t always have five overripe bananas, but I peel them and keep them in the freezer until I have enough for this cake.
This cake is very easy to make, just remember only to melt the butter, not heat it.
If you have some liquor, Bailey´s, Grand Marnier or Licor 43 will make the cake even better. Add 1-2 tbsp. depending on how strong liquor flavour you want.

Stand mixer / hand mixer
Large mixing bowl
Dough scraper
Small baking pan
Baking paper
Ingredients:
4-5 overripe bananas
150 g butter
200 g sugar
1 tsk. vanilla sugar
200 g all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
5 eggs
100 g chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, hazel nuts)
100 g chopped chocolate (white or dark)
Optional: 1-2 tbsp. liquor
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 175° C (conventional)
Mash bananas with a fork
Melt the butter carefully in the microwave
Add sugar and butter to a large mixing bowl and mix
Add bananas and eggs
Mix flour, baking powder and vanilla sugar in a bowl
Ad the mix to the sugar/butter
Add nuts and chocolate (and liquor)
Mix all ingredients throughly at low setting until the batter is even
Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with baking paper
Bake for 45-50 mins. (test with a fork if the cake is done)
Remove the cake form the oven and let it cool off on a wire rack
